Privacy Policy

CV text you paste. When you run an analysis, the CV text you enter is sent to the analysis backend to generate your skill-gap report. In demo / keyless mode the analysis runs against a built-in, offline skill map. If an AI key is configured by the operator, the CV text is sent to that AI provider (Google Gemini) solely to generate the report.

Optional target industry. A short text label you may enter, or which is inferred from your CV.

• We do not store your CV text on the server after your report is generated.
• We do not store your name, email, or contact details.
• Usage logs record counts only (e.g. that an analysis ran) — never your CV text, name, or email.
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, and we run no advertising or tracking SDKs.
• The AI model never emits links. Learning links come only from a real, verified provider search.

In keyless mode, analysis is fully local to the server’s built-in skill map. If the operator has enabled the AI path, your CV text is transmitted to Google’s Gemini API for that single request to produce the report. We recommend you remove sensitive personal identifiers from your CV before pasting it.

For your convenience, your most recent CV and report may be saved in your own browser’s local storage so the page restores them when you return. This data stays on your device and never leaves the browser. Use “Clear & start over” in the analyzer to remove it.

Because Skap does not retain your CV text or identity on the server, there is no stored personal profile to export or delete. To clear locally-stored data, use the in-app clear control or your browser’s site-data settings. For any privacy question, contact the operator of this deployment.

Skap is intended for job seekers and is not directed at children under 16.
